My name is Amy Scanlon. I’m a third-year Fine Art student in Yeats Academy of Arts, Design and Architecture.
Throughout my first and second year of college, I served as my course’s class representative. Since attending ATU Sligo, I actively ensured that my classmates’ voices were heard regarding any concerns that were brought to my attention in hopes of a resolution. I'm a highly transparent and resilient individual that will never hesitate to speak up for what's right.
If chosen to be your YAADA representative, I will continue use my voice to ensure that the issues facing all corners of our department are heard within the Student Senate. I firmly believe that the Student Senate is a fantastic avenue for departments to collaborate and discuss about any needed reform, and I would be honoured to speak on behalf of YAADA.
