EMMANUEL OLUWOLE
Hello, my name is Emmanuel Oluwole, and I am excited to be running for the International Student Officer for the next year. I am currently a first-year undergraduate student studying Computer Science. From my experience as a Class Rep in my secondary school for over five years, I have gained skills in active communication, engagement and leadership which would enable me to excel in this position.
Over the past few months, as an international student, I have observed challenges that we international students face daily, and I believe that much can be done. Through partnership and support, my regime would ensure that international students are supported and equipped to handle challenges during their time in ATU Sligo. As a candidate for the international officer student officer position, I aim to bring a fresh perspective, inclusive initiatives, and resolute support to our diverse student community.
If elected I will:
- Be more active and effectively represent international student in all campuses and courses.
- Work with the ATUSSU officers to engage and advance agendas on behalf of the international student.
- Organize event focused on integrating cultural societies and celebrating racial diversity by holding cultural and multicultural event.
- Raise awareness and enable international students participate in social events to attain an international network.
- Ensure that the voice of international students are heard and the issues that international students face are addressed.
My desire to run for this role, stems from the love of our international student community and my commitment to serve and represent the international student community effectively. I am committed to collaborate with other ATUSSU officers to ensure all initiative are inclusive and beneficial to students. Together, we can foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. I implore you to place your trust in me as your international officer.
