Hi! I am Oliwier, a 4th year Civil Engineering Student.
I am aware the Civil and Construction department forms a small portion of the college making us a minority. Making it harder for us to find someone for help or for our voices to be heard.
Seeing no one ran for the position last Semester, and being the only Department without a Representative, has seriously touched my heart. It has really motivated me to run for the position and do all in my best I can for the Department.
As a final year student, I have the experience and knowledge on how the Department works. Also, as I have been a class rep in my 2nd and current year of study, I have deal with some unpleasant situations.
I wish to use my experience to represent our Department at a higher level and connect with all the students within the Department to aid them with help and guidance with any matter they may have. Nevertheless, also have an input in the overall senate, as we are afterall, Civilasation Engineers!
